- Four options are available:
-
- B<eep> - A short beep. Signifies a noteworthy event, such as error, or
- end of processing.

- A<lert> - Series of pulsing, insistent sounds patterned after Star Trek
- red alert. Use for serious warnings of major dangers.

- T<akeoff> - Long, rising pitch, like a falling bomb or rocket takeoff.
- Signifies build to a climactic event.

- Q<uick takeoff> - quick version of T function.
- R<everse> - reverses the pitch change (low to high changes to high to low or
- vice versa.

- S<tartover> - checks for keyboard input. If none is available, the program
- starts over otherwise, it continues.

- 1-255 - number of repeats for next command.

- Use the first letter of the items above as parameters to initiate that function.

- Entering a number (up to 255 before a letter causes it to be repeated as many
- times as you specify.

- Invoked at DOS level by typing "SOUND [option]", e.g.
